A veces veo "moscas" o "arañas" que flotan en mi ojo aún después de operado de catarata, es normal? I see "floaters" in my eye even after having cataract surgery, is this normal?

Dentro de el ojo tenemos un "gel" llamado humor #vítreo desde que nacemos. El vítreo tiene múltiples funciones en el ojo y es importante que siempre esté presente. Conforme avanza la vida, el #vítreo se torna mas líquido y este "flota" en el ojo.
Cuando hay ambiente de mucha luz tendemos a verlo con mas frecuencia.
El #desprendimiento del #vítreo es una condición fisiológica que nos ocurre a todos. Es importante que cuando esto ocurre visitemos al oftalmólogo para descartar #agujeros en la #retina o un desprendimiento de retina (infrecuente, pero podría ocurrir).

Inside the eye we have a "gel" called #vitreous humor from the moment we are born. The vitreous has multiple functions in the eye and it is important that it is always present. As life progresses, the #vitreous becomes more liquid and it "floats" in the eye. When there is a bright environment we tend to see it more frequently.
Vitreous #detachment is a physiological condition that happens to all of us.
It is important that when this occurs we visit the ophthalmologist to rule out #tear in the #retina or a #retinal detachment (rare, but it could occur).
